Kurt Zouma joins Palm City

Zouma arrives as one of the most decorated defenders to play in the UAE First Division.
A product of Saint-Étienne, where he broke into the first team as a teenager, he moved to Chelsea in 2014 and spent seven years at Stamford Bridge across 99 appearances. He won the Premier League twice, in 2014/15 and 2016/17, the EFL Cup, and the Champions League in 2021, adding the UEFA Super Cup in the same year. Loan spells at Stoke City and Everton came in between.
He joined West Ham United in 2021 and made 82 appearances over four seasons, winning the UEFA Europa Conference League in 2023. More recently he has played in Saudi Arabia and Romania.
Zouma has eleven caps for France and was part of the side that won the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in 2013.
At 31 he brings something a squad cannot buy in any other form: the experience of defending at the very top of the European game, week after week, for over a decade. For a club pursuing promotion to the ADNOC Pro League, that matters.
Zouma joins a Palm City side that won the domestic double in 2026 and begins the season under new Head Coach Grégory Dufrennes.
Welcome to Palm City, Kurt.
