Moussa Marega joins Palm City
Marega arrives having scored goals at the highest level of European and Asian club football.
His four years at FC Porto produced 71 goals in 178 appearances and two Primeira Liga titles, in 2017/18 and 2019/20, alongside two Portuguese Super Cups. He was a regular in Porto's Champions League campaigns throughout that period.
He moved to Al Hilal in 2021 and won the AFC Champions League in his first season, following it with the Saudi Pro League title in 2021/22.
Marega has thirteen caps for Mali.
He is a centre forward of the old school: strong, direct, relentless in pressing from the front, and a genuine threat in the box. Forwards who lead a line the way he does are increasingly rare, and for a side that wants to play on the front foot he changes what is possible.
Marega joins a Palm City squad that won the domestic double in 2026 and begins the campaign under new Head Coach Grégory Dufrennes.
Welcome to Palm City, Moussa.
